Earlywine "Earl" Jackson was born in Eastern Oklahoma in 1909. In his lifetime, he has prepared his world famous barbeque for heads of state, movie stars and commonfolk alike. When Earl died he had been traveling with the King as his personal chef and companion and took great pride in the fact the King gained more than 50 pounds during that time. When Earl died in 1978, recipes and secrets were sought after by chefs and collectors from all over the world but his family locked them away until just last year.
