Jane Jenkins, President and CEO
Jane Jenkins is the new President and CEO OF Downtown Oklahoma City, Incorporated. Previously, Jane was Executive Director of the Downtown Boulder Business Improvement District in Boulder, CO. With over 23 years experience in downtown revitalization and management, (a career she began with the Oklahoma Main Street Program in Wagoner), Jane is an internationally recognized speaker and expert on urban issues and currently serves as Chairman for the International Downtown Association Board of Directors. As a former high school educator, Jane was named Teacher of the Year at Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas in Denton.

Kathy Ford-Wallis, Vice-President of Operations

Kathy Ford-Wallis joined the DOKC team in 2007 as the Director of Operations. In addition to managing the company’s accounting and reporting, she is responsible for developing and implementing successful Business Improvement District programs such as the Clean Teams, migratory bird control, street furniture and downtown district signs and entryways.

Prior to joining DOKC, Ford-Wallis built a twelve year career in the commercial real estate industry in property and event management. Her tenure included assignments with Urban Retail Properties and The Macerich Company with assignments in Oklahoma City and Denver. Upon her return to the Oklahoma City area, she assumed the role of Director of Commercial Exhibits for the Oklahoma State Fair.

Ms. Ford-Wallis holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business/Accounting from Northwestern State University. In 2006, she received her MBA from Oklahoma City University.

Ford-Wallis is an Oklahoma Native and is excited to be able to play a part in making downtown an active and vibrant destination.

Allison Shumate, Marketing and Events Coordinator
Allison Shumate joined DOKC in January 2010. As Marketing and Events Coordinators she will handle all tactical management of events including Downtown in December, SoundBites in the Park and the Downtown Dash as well as consumer marketing for DOKC.

Before coming to DOKC, Ms. Shumate spent five years at Oklahoma Christian University as a member of the communications team. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. In 2009, Ms. Shumate earned her MBA in Leadership and Organizational Development from OC.

A native Oklahoman, she is excited to play a part in the continued revitalization and development of Downtown Oklahoma City.

Jill Brown DeLozier,
 Marketing Director
Jill Brown DeLozier is the marketing director at Downtown Oklahoma City, Inc., and is responsible for the promotion of DOKC and its events, as well as business development, research and sponsorships.

Jill has more than 10 years’ experience in publishing, fundraising, marketing and public relations in Oklahoma City and worked for The Journal Record, American Heart Association and Oklahoma Gazette before joining the Downtown OKC team.

She volunteers with several local nonprofits, currently serves as the Chairman of Ad2OKC, and is a board member of the Oklahoma City Ad Club. She lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, Josh, and daughter, Emily.

Gentry McKeown, Communications Coordinator
Gentry McKeown joined the DOKC team in August 2011. As the Communications Coordinator, she oversees DOKC’s social media initiatives, coordinates the What’s Up Downtown weekly newsletter, maintains DOKC’s websites, and acts as the point of contact for media inquiries.  

Before joining DOKC, Gentry studied arts management and music at Oklahoma City University and earned her B.S. in 2006. In college, she discovered she had a knack for writing and communications. She honed those skills while working for the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education, where she wrote and edited an external newsletter and designed a number of brochures and marketing materials.

Gentry is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City who enjoys discovering great new places to eat, being nerdy, happy hour-ing with friends and keeping it local.
