Automobile Alley was a popular retail district in the 1920s and was home to most of the city's car dealerships. It had declined along with the rest of Downtwn during the 1970s and 1980s. The mid 1990's revitalization has transformed the showrooms and storefronts into upscale lofts, galleries and offices.
